A Visit to Port Norris

I visited my daughter in Port Norris, NJ for the weekend and we spent a day visiting the marshes and scenic spots around them. This is the old church in Bivalve, NJ. Once a year they have a celebration called Bay Day. The tall ship A.J. Meerwald is anchored here part of the year, and they give boat tours during Bay Day. If you are interested in learning more about this, you can visit

The birds that inhabit the marshes were sitting all over the railings.

The colors of the marsh were like an artist's muted palette

We had a great day!

Where on EARTH do you live? It's so beautiful. I'm in California and it's filled with beauty, but this is a different beauty and I'm missing it. Now I know where I can come and transport. Really lovely shots.
