Rainy Days!

It's raining!! I have always loved the rain. It could have something to do with the fact that I grew up in New Mexico, and we didn't have a lot of rain. When it rained I would run outside and hold my arms up, turn my face to the heavens and just stand in the rain. I can still remember the smell of the rain on the dry earth, it was wonderful. To this day I love that smell.

I liked the days it rained when my children were small, it usually meant they had to stay inside, and we would play board games. When it stopped raining, everything outside was fresh and washed clean by the rain. The air had a different quality, like it had been purified.

Yes, I do have a use for these windows sitting out in the rain!
