A Visit To Asheville

My daughter, Miakoda and I took a trip to Asheville, NC to visit my brother and sister-in-law. The visit was in October and we had a grand time. Here are a few snaps of our visit.

My feet, for years I have photographed my own feet, I should do a whole page on the progression of my feet, only I don't think anyone would really be interested.

A Trip to the Wildlife Preserve

We took a trip to the Bowman Hill Wildlife Preserve and then went into Lambertville for dinner. It is late or early, however you look at it for the wildflowers, so this is the only blooming flower I found.

It was still a really wonderful day, and just look at these majestic trees!

This is Miakoda, actually a very pretty flower.

I love the way these leaves look.

We followed the trails, and there were mosquitos, but it was beautiful.

Memorial Day

I hope everyone took the time to remember our men and women in the armed forces who gave of their time, comfort, and lives to defend our freedom. THANK YOU to all the fine men and women who gave us this precious gift.

Spring Flowers From My Garden

My garden amazes me every year, the flowers bloom, the mint grows and everything returns. These are some of the beautiful flowers and plants that grow in my garden.

Morning and Breakfast

I cannot believe that it has been this long since I have put anything on my blog, I'M SORRY!!!!!!

This morning I jumped (drug myself) out of bed and raced (stumbled) to the kitchen, with a short stop at the bathroom, and a quick jaunt outside for my dog, Nook. I looked around my neat (last nights pots were still in the sink) kitchen, and tried to decide whether to make the coffee or settle for tea (if I wait until someone else gets up, they will grind the beans and make the coffee), so I settled for tea.

Okay, so it took me twenty minutes to decide which tea to have and by this time Kode has joined me and we'll wait for Ray to make the coffee.

Looking for something for breakfast, nah, I don't think so.
