FOG!

I woke up to a morning and my world was shrouded in fog. I had to go out to get coffee, so I took my camera and stopped along the way to get a few photos. I took these with my Canon Power Shot G9. They are color photos, and I love the way they look like black and white, except for a few small spots where the color was bright enough to show through the fog.
Ducks at the marina, the river is behind the posts.
The marina.

The Rancocas River is down the bank, right behind this tree.

The cemetery down the street from my house.

This is the Watchtower at the train station in Riverside.

I love that fact that all of these photos are color, but the fog makes them appear B&W!

Vogue Live in New York City

My daughter, Miakoda and I went to New York Vogue Live, a knitting event. I was in heaven among all the wonderful yarn! I got to l meet wonderful authors, who were gracious enough to have their photo taken with me. I met Vicki Howell, who is sweet, pretty and so tiny.
I feel like a giant beside her, she was doing a free demo!
This was a needle felted chess board, aren't they wonderful!
Knitted garmets.
This was a totally knitted birdbath, birds, flowers and squirrel!
And this amazing display is knitted glass, I don't fully understand the technique, something to do with wax.
This is totally knitted, not a real animal hide, but a knitted one, what talent!
And finally, I got to meet Clara Parkes, the amazing lady behind "The Great White Bale" and the author of so many great knitting books.  She was so nice and down to earth.
These photos were taken with my cell phone, and the lighting wasn't the best for photographs, so excuse the quality.
